Fred Barnes, Director of Training, brings to Distinction Communication a diverse background with his experience as a Public Speaker, Corporate Trainer, Facilitator, and Executive Consultant. His training and consulting is enriched by over twenty-five years of corporate sales, sales management and marketing experience.
Fred received his BS degree in business from California State University and has since completed all course work for an MBA at the same University.
He served as a Naval Officer and then began a successful career in Sales and Marketing. This led to multiple opportunities to train and consult business people on how to achieve their professional and personal goals.
Fred has worked with senior executives on an individual basis as well as conducted customized training for managers at rapidly changing organizations. He has trained in a variety of areas including Sales Skills, Social Styles, and High-Impact Presentation and Communication Skills.
